News: Jiang Hong, Member of the Party Leadership Group of Guizhou Foreign Affairs Office, Leads a Delegation to Investigate Foreign Trade Work at the Company

On May 13, Jiang Hong, Member of the Party Leadership Group of Guizhou Provincial Foreign Affairs Office and Full-time Vice President of Guizhou Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, led a delegation to Guizhou Tiandi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. to conduct a special investigation on foreign trade work. Relevant leading officials from Qianxinan Prefecture Bureau of Commerce accompanied the investigation. Liu Zhengchao, Chairman and General Manager of the Company, together with persons in charge of relevant departments, extended a warm reception and accompanied the whole inspection tour.

At the research forum, Chairman Liu Zhengchao elaborated on the achievements, market layout and future plans of the company’s foreign trade business. As a leading domestic injection manufacturer in Guizhou Province, Tiandi Pharmaceutical has achieved steady breakthroughs in foreign trade since establishing its import and export subsidiary in 2020, with its products sold to countries and regions across South America, Africa and parts of Asia.

At present, foreign trade sales revenue accounts for more than 70% of the company’s total sales. The technical transformation project of the foreign trade workshop is progressing steadily and is expected to be completed by the end of May. Three newly added dedicated production lines are being optimized in line with international standards, laying a solid foundation for overseas OEM business. Meanwhile, Chairman Liu also frankly pointed out existing difficulties including fierce domestic market competition, high production and management costs in the pharmaceutical industry, and obstacles in building overseas market channels.

Vice President Jiang Hong fully affirmed the remarkable achievements made by Tiandi Pharmaceutical in foreign trade development. She stated that foreign affairs authorities will actively build economic and trade docking platforms, optimize the application service for APEC Business Travel Cards, launch one-on-one exclusive foreign affairs services to precisely cater to enterprise demands and help resolve development bottlenecks. She encouraged the company to further increase R&D investment, seize development opportunities brought by the Belt and Road Initiative, and steadily enhance the international competitiveness of its products.

After the forum, the investigation team paid an on-site visit to the company’s production workshops, inspected the operation of injection production lines, and learned in detail about the production processes, quality management systems and production capacity of core products.

This investigation has built an efficient communication bridge between Tiandi Pharmaceutical and foreign affairs authorities. Seizing this opportunity, the company will rely on policy support to further expand the international market, strive to build a leading domestic production base for injection exports at an early date, and make greater contributions to the development of export-oriented economy in Guizhou Province.
