News | Wang Liqiong Leads a Team to Investigate Guizhou Tiandi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.

On May 9, Wang Liqiong, Vice Chairman of the Prefectural Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), led a team to conduct a special research trip to Guizhou Tiandi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. focusing on industrial development. The team conducted an in-depth understanding of the enterprise's production and operation, foreign trade sales, technological transformation and upgrading, and other related conditions. Relevant leading officials of the High-tech Zone, Liu Zhengchao, Chairman and General Manager of the company, and department heads accompanied the inspection.

The research group visited the production workshops, dedicated foreign trade production lines and technological transformation construction sites, inspected the operation of injection production lines on the spot, and made detailed inquiries about product research and development, quality control and market layout.

As a local modern enterprise deeply engaged in the pharmaceutical industry for more than 30 years, Guizhou Tiandi Pharmaceutical now has 7 production lines covering 34 specifications of injection products. Its annual production capacity of large-volume injections reaches 360 million bottles, and that of small-volume injections hits 1 billion pieces. The sales network covers 18 provincial-level administrative regions across the country including Guizhou, Yunnan, Guangxi and Guangdong. Meanwhile, the enterprise undertakes customized pharmaceutical processing business, with products sold to many countries and regions in South America, Africa and Asia.

In recent years, the company has taken the initiative to adjust its development strategy and accelerate international layout, focusing on exploring markets in Global South countries. It has successfully passed GMP factory inspection and certification by Yemen, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, the Philippines, Iraq and other countries, with nearly 70 overseas registered and filed product varieties. At present, foreign trade sales revenue accounts for over 70% of the total. The technological transformation project of the foreign trade workshop is steadily advancing and is expected to be completed by the end of May. Three new dedicated production lines will be continuously optimized in line with international standards, providing solid support for international customized processing business.

Wang Liqiong affirmed the enterprise's development path of adhering to scientific and technological innovation and international layout. She stressed that technological transformation and upgrading should empower industrial transformation, give full play to the geographical advantages of border areas, and continuously expand overseas markets. She also stated that the CPPCC will actively build a communication bridge between government and enterprises to help the enterprise solve development difficulties.

This research visit has injected impetus into the development of Tiandi Pharmaceutical. Taking this inspection as an opportunity, the company will further deepen technological transformation and innovation, improve its foreign trade layout, strive to build a leading domestic injection production base and a core international export platform, and make greater contributions to local economic and social development.
