Warmly Celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Guizhou Tiandi Pharmaceuticals

In the blink of an eye, Guizhou Tiandi Pharmaceuticals is about to cross the milestone of its 30th year of relentless effort. Looking back, the company’s development journey remains vivid in our memories.

In August 1995, Guizhou Tiandi Pharmaceuticals was established, marking the end of Qianxinan Prefecture’s history of having no injectable drug manufacturers. In 2000, facing challenges head-on, the company invested 30 million yuan in its first-phase GMP technological transformation, constructing a large-volume injectable production line with an annual capacity of over 30 million bottles, which passed national GMP certification.

At the end of 2003, Guizhou Tiandi Pharmaceuticals underwent restructuring, with General Manager Liu Zhengchao elected as Chairman and General Manager. The restructured company implemented a 'two-step' development strategy: first, intensifying technological upgrades to expand production scale, and second, accelerating product R&D to continuously optimize its product portfolio. This led to six years of rapid growth, with sales revenue doubling year after year, significantly improving profitability and fostering a thriving enterprise. By 2009, sales revenue reached nearly 400 million yuan, with tax payments exceeding 20 million yuan, ranking third among Xingyi City’s top taxpayers. All economic indicators reached their highest levels since the company’s founding, achieving a qualitative leap in development.

In 2010, the company acquired the small-volume injectable product registrations of Guizhou Huasheng Pharmaceuticals, further expanding production scale and refining its product structure. 

In August 2017, in compliance with national environmental policies and Xingyi City’s urban development plans, Guizhou Tiandi Pharmaceuticals initiated a full-scale relocation project. 

By November 2018, it moved into the Hongxing Pharmaceutical Industrial Park in Qianxinan High-Tech Zone, establishing a modern pharmaceutical enterprise with advanced automation and intelligence.

Affected by the pandemic, the domestic drug sales market declined sharply from 2020 onward. To find a breakthrough, Guizhou Tiandi Pharmaceuticals partnered with domestic pharmaceutical export specialists to rapidly expand contract manufacturing and foreign trade, significantly boosting annual sales revenue and discovering a new path for growth. After pandemic restrictions eased, the domestic market rebounded strongly. The company maintained steady and healthy development, consolidating and expanding its domestic market share while further exploring international sales channels. By 2023, profitability had improved further.

   Amid a fiercely competitive market environment, domestic sales in 2024 saw a slight decline compared to 2023, while foreign trade orders grew noticeably. Annual sales revenue (including tax) reached 314 million yuan, with tax contributions of 15.32 million yuan. As foreign trade expanded, the company’s expertise matured, earning international pharmaceutical production quality certifications from Ethiopia, the Philippines, and Yemen in 2024. With nearly 50 products registered in over ten countries, including Nigeria, Peru, and Uzbekistan, the company laid a solid foundation for global market entry.

   In 2025, Guizhou Tiandi Pharmaceuticals will seize the opportunities presented by provincial and prefectural industrial development policies, striving to achieve annual production and operational goals.
