News | Li Bingjun preached and investigated in Qiannan Prefecture

From April 7 to 8, Li Bingjun, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor, visited Qinglong County, Xingren City, and Xingyi City in Qiannan Prefecture to promote the important speech spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection in Guizhou and to conduct research. He emphasized the need to deeply study and implement the important speech spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping, solidly advance urbanization construction with county towns as an important carrier, cultivate and expand the county economy, firmly uphold the bottom line tasks, and fully promote the integrated development of industry, strong counties, and wealth for the people. At Guizhou Qinglong Green Tea Co., Ltd., Li Bingjun urged the local area to leverage its comparative advantages, focus on attracting downstream processing enterprises, promote the standardization of tea-making processes and brand building, improve the benefit connection mechanism, and enhance industrial efficiency and farmers' income. At Guizhou Southwest Energy and Mining Zinc Co., Ltd., he required the company to strengthen quality and efficiency awareness, further extend the industrial chain, increase added value, improve management levels, and enhance market benefits and competitiveness. At Guizhou Tiandi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., he inquired in detail about the company's production operations and product export situation, encouraging the company to actively expand overseas markets and strive to grow stronger. Li Bingjun conducted in-depth research on the '5+3' construction projects, at the integrated agricultural photovoltaic power station project in Qinglong County, he demanded strengthened project management and adherence to the red line bottom line of arable land protection; at the comprehensive project of the transportation hub in front of the Panxing High-speed Railway Xinyi South Station, he required localities and departments to strengthen element guarantees, create quality projects, and ensure timely completion and operation.

Li Bingjun is very concerned about the geological disaster risk relocation work. He adopted the 'four no's and two direct' approach and went to Chupitian Village in Panjiazhuang Town, Xingren City, to supervise the implementation of the relocation project and the resettlement of the people on-site, listening to and responding to the demands of the public. He emphasized the need to firmly establish the concept of putting people and life first, to take multiple measures to increase the intensity of geological disaster risk relocation, actively seek support from higher authorities, integrate various policies and funds at all levels, enforce the main responsibility of the city and county, and accelerate the relocation and proper resettlement of people living around high-risk hazard points to ensure the safety of people's lives and property. It is essential to fully solicit the opinions of the relocated people and to address their difficulties and problems with tailored solutions for each household. During the research trip, Li Bingjun inspected the Balin River Bridge Museum, requesting to deeply explore cultural resources, innovate exhibition forms, and cultivate a more distinctive 'bridge-tourism integration' business model suitable for local conditions to attract more tourists from within and outside the province.
